VILLAGE VINYASA
All levels (and friends!) are welcome in our yoga sessions. These moving meditations invite us to hone in on that beautiful balance between strength and surrender, riding life’s currents with our collective breath. With Beverly Jane's yogic roots in ashtanga, Iyengar, vinyasa and restorative yoga, a lifetime of training in voice, breath and music, and a self-proclaimed-nerdish obsession with meditation, brain science and anatomy, our class “style” can vary; she opens herself to intuitively and intentionally teach to the energy of both the students and the seasons at hand. That said, each practice has these consistent themes woven throughout: focus on breath, safe and strong alignment, and noticing whatever arises -physically, mentally, emotionally- with mindful self-compassion. In addition to asanas and meditation, we love tea time before class where we muse over oracle cards, favorite things and good books.
